What is  after a sentence?

I notice that this  symbol was at the end of a sentence (twice), when I was reading a couple of paragraph that was posted on Yahoo News. It was a interview with President Obama & correspondent Steve Kroft from CBS "60 minutes". The topic - President says bin Laden raid was ‘longest 40 minutes of my life. What does it mean or represent?
