I am a 17 year female and my dad wants me to pay rent?

Your under 18 so legally your dad can't make you pay rent. your dad is a retard. however once you do turn 18 your dad can legally make you pay rent so its up to you whether to move out and get your own place or pay the rent. If the rent is a small price like $50 month then no big deal but if he charges like 500 dollars a month you could get your own apartment for less then that.
