Cool hairstyles???????????/?

I'm getting my hair cut in a few days and I want to try something completely new. I want to get it really layered and some sort of choppy bangs....I don't really know how to explain it lol. But I searched online for some cool hairstyles and I couldn't find anything so any suggestions would be great! Oh and I have a heart shaped face and thick black hair to my rib cage if that helps.
