Are combat camera and public affairs MOS the same?
i have recently signed to join the marine corps and i want to be a combat photographer or a combat videographer. i signed a sheet that said combat camera on it and they said i would have to go for 5 years and instead of 4 cause the training takes so long for that MOS, but later on i heard i was gonna be a combat correspondent even thou thats a public affairs job which takes 6 months to train while combat photographers train for 8 weeks and i was wondering if they are part of the same MOS or did my recruiters make a mistake that i should talk to them about?
